We are raising funds to support our family’s journey to the Nevus Organization’s bi-annual conference this summer—our first ever conference—where we’ll gain education, resources, and community for our daughter Collins, who was born with a congenital melanocytic nevus. About Collins + family Nevus Conference

Our daughter Collins was born with a congenital melanocytic nevus (CMN) on her face. From the moment she entered the world, our family stepped into a journey we never expected—one filled with questions, learning, advocacy, and a deep desire to ensure she grows up feeling confident, supported, and fully seen for who she is. This summer, our family has the opportunity to attend the Nevus Organization’s bi-annual conference for the very first time. This conference brings together medical experts, researchers, advocates, and families from around the world who are navigating CMN together. It offers education on current research and treatment options, emotional support for parents and caregivers, and—most importantly—a sense of community for children and families who often feel isolated in their experience. For us, this conference represents more than travel. It represents knowledge, empowerment, and connection. It’s a chance to learn directly from specialists, ask the questions we carry as parents, and better understand how to advocate for Collins as she grows. It’s also a chance for our family—and especially Collins—to be surrounded by people who understand her story without explanation. The funds raised through this fundraiser will help cover the costs associated with attending the conference, including travel, lodging, registration, and related expenses for our family of four. Every contribution directly supports our ability to be present, learn, and engage fully in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. We believe that no family should feel alone on this journey.
