About CMN Ambassador - Scottie

Scottie was born on February 10, 2024. Like many other others we found out about Scottie diagnosis at birth. Fortunately, the birthing center we had her at quickly, acted and reached out to a dermatologist in the area. 

They could help them diagnose her. 

We were given the diagnosis of GCMN almost immediately. Scottie had her first MRI at 1 day old which is when she received the NCM diagnosis. The days after receiving her NCM diagnosis are still very much so a blur. 

I was blessed to have had an amazing midwife who found nevus outreach for me which connected me to so many other families! We spent the first few months of her life, seeing different specialist, such as neurologist, ophthalmologist, and dermatologist together better understanding of her diagnosis. 

Scottie is now a thriving 18 month old that has the best personality and is so full of life!! Thankfully Scotty has not encountered any complications from either one of her diagnosis at this point!
