About CMN Ambassador - Rue

Rue was born in December 2023 with a medium-sized nevus on his cheek. It has taken a lot of time and research to educate ourselves about his condition and to figure out how to best take care of him, but throughout the process so far, we have been so, so grateful for the community that Nevus.org has brought us. 

Rue has just had his MRI to check for NCM, and we have thankfully found out that he is in the clear. Rue is a gorgeous, wonderful, rambunctious little boy who is so full of life, and we are so glad to be his parents. 

The main reason we want to raise awareness is for fellow parents in the delivery room. It is not ok that so many of us have had our beautiful babies handed to us along with misinformation, tactless comments, or a lack of care. We need to raise awareness about CMN so new parents can immediately feel equipped and supported as they begin what can be quite an overwhelming time.
