About CMN Ambassador - Giada

Hi! My name is Giada, and I was born with Congenital Melanocytic Nevus (CMN) on my leg. Growing up, I’ve learned that my CMN is part of what makes me unique. It may look different from other people’s skin, but it doesn’t stop me from being a cheerleader, a friend, a daughter, or from doing the things I love. Sometimes having something that looks different can make you feel self-conscious, but I’ve learned that my CMN is a part of what makes me special. I’m proud of who I am, and I want other kids with CMN to know that they are not alone. Raising awareness is important to me because I want people to understand CMN and be more accepting of differences. I hope that by sharing my story, I can help other kids feel confident, strong, and proud of who they are. My CMN is part of my story—but it does not define me.
